The Scholarship Program was the very first initiative of Bridge Budapest. Over the course of five years, we had a total of 30 ambitious young fellows who were able to spend their scholarships at innovative, successful, and exciting Hungarian-founded companies such as Prezi, IBM Budapest Lab (formerly Ustream), LogMeIn, BOOKR Kids, Synetiq, Konetik, and Publishdrive.

During the first three years, our scholarship recipients spent a month at the international offices of successful Hungarian-founded companies, where they gained first-hand experience of how a company operates. Between 2016 and 2017, we worked with six smaller startups, where our scholars spent six months working on a high-impact business project to gain real, relevant work experience. Several of these young talents still work at the same companies they joined during the Scholarship Program and some have even received equity shares in those companies.
